This year marked a significant milestone for Sattva as our article, “Sattva—An Educational Approach towards Global Citizenship and Human Rights Awareness,” was selected for publication in the fifteenth volume of Human Rights Education in Asia-Pacific.

The publication reflects Sattva’s ongoing journey of learning, unlearning, and reimagining education through the lens of Global Citizenship Education (GCED) and Human Rights Education. It documents our efforts to create safe, inclusive, and reflective learning spaces where participants are encouraged to engage in dialogue, think critically, express themselves freely, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.

The article also highlights Sattva’s unique approach to integrating the arts into education, with a special focus on our dance education programmes. Through movement, creative expression, and reflective practices, these programmes have enabled learners to build confidence, develop self-awareness, and strengthen their sense of identity while cultivating empathy and respect for others.
