The book is an honest record of the writer’s journey. It contains some interesting questions about the functioning of the system and the society. This book is written from the perspective of an educator who stood against all odds.  From a child who was labeled fat, and too quiet to an artist who was labeled too rebellious, this book brings out the reality of the system we are in. This book puts forth some important concerns of the present education system and highlights the aspects that need to be reformed. The writer speaks on behalf of a lot of students as well as teachers in this book. Rajvi openly writes about her journey as a PhD student and the challenges she faced being in a conventional educational set up. This book points out the struggle in striking a balance between the mainstream mentality and one’s inner voice. The book was launched by Rajvi’s guru, Vidushi Saswati Sen, the legendary Kathak dancer and teacher; her Mama and her parents who have always encouraged her to reach new heights. These are people who have played an important role in Rajvi’s journey as a performing artist and as an educator. This book was launched on 20th December 2024, as a part of the program conducted for promoting national cultural heritage. We have sold more than 150 copies of this book and the book has been widely appreciated by people. We hope that we can reach people working in those rigid systems through this book, and urge our audiences to ask more questions about the relevance of the present education system.
