Celebrating Three Years of Sattva- February 2026

In February, Sattva marked a significant milestone as we celebrated three years of our journey with a small but meaningful gathering of educators, teachers, and education enthusiasts. The celebration was not only an opportunity to reflect on our journey so far but also to engage in thoughtful conversations about the future of education and the role we can collectively play in shaping it.

The discussion centered around a simple yet powerful question: What do we hope education can become? Educators shared their experiences, aspirations, and challenges, reflecting on how schools and teachers can be better supported to create learning environments that are more inclusive, engaging, and relevant to the lives of young people. Together, we explored ways of fostering stronger connections with learners by making education more experiential, meaningful, and rooted in real-world contexts.

The gathering also provided a platform to exchange ideas on integrating the principles of Global Citizenship Education (GCED) into both formal and non-formal educational settings. Participants discussed practical approaches to nurturing critical thinking, empathy, collaboration, and a sense of global responsibility among learners, while ensuring that these values remain grounded in local realities and everyday classroom practices. The event reaffirmed Sattva’s commitment to building a community of educators who believe in education as a transformative force—one that empowers learners to become thoughtful, compassionate, and active contributors to society.
